Instructions for Using Sticker/Decal Transfers:
1.Pre-Squeegee Step Before Separation:
After cutting your sticker/decal, place the design face down with the white side up. Utilize the padded end of the provided squeegee and firmly run it back and forth over the design 3-5 times. This action secures the design onto the clear carrier sheet. Exercise caution, especially with delicate and thin design elements like small text.
2. Separating the Clear Carrier Sheet from the White Backing:
To separate the clear carrier sheet from the white backing, initiate a small tear away from the design, avoiding the immediate area. Lift the clear carrier sheet gently to grip it and slowly detach it from the white backing. Start from any edge of your design, adjusting your pull for a clean separation. Remember, use your eyes to ensure the entire design lifts onto the clear carrier sheet. If not, re-squeegee and attempt separation from a different angle.
3. Placing the Transfer/Design onto Your Item:
Identify the placement area on your item and carefully position the design, starting from one side and moving towards the other. This method aids in controlling placement, minimizing air bubbles, and preventing wrinkling of the carrier sheet, which could misalign or overlap design elements.
Tip: Keep an edge of the carrier sheet lifted for easy gripping, also known as "Dog Earring."
4. Completing the Transfer Process:
Once the design is placed on your item, use the padded squeegee to apply firm pressure back and forth 3-5 times. This action ensures the design adheres properly. Avoid squeegeeing over the "dog eared" edge to maintain your grip.
You're now ready to slowly peel. As you peel, use your eyes to guarantee all elements of your design remain on your item. Maintain a controlled peel by moving your grip inward. If some elements don't transfer, re-squeegee and try peeling from a different angle.
Follow these steps for a successful and precise transfer of your sticker or decal design!
